Judy Blake Pottery

Bio

Judy Blake has been working with clay since the mid 1970's when she attended the New Brunswick Craft School (now the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design).

Although she has worked primarily as a functional potter since graduating, for the past ten years Judy has been pursuing her longtime passion for smoke-fired pottery. Her works include sawdust-firing, pit-firing, raku and saggar-firing.

Judy has been the recipient of several awards including The New Brunswick Arts Board grants for Creation, Travel and Professional Development and she has been a part-time instructor for several years in the Clay Department of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. She lives and works in Lincoln, NB.
